FAQ

1. What age do your classes start from? 

We have our Tiny Dancers class which is suitable for 6 months - 3 years, this is a parent and child class. Our independent children's classes start from age 3. 

1. Does TDSW do any shows?

Yes! We love the excitement and build up of a show. We do a big TDSW annual show every summer and also take part in Warrington Dance Platform each Christmas. 

1. Do you have a competitive group? 

Yes we have a Competition Class who compete in regional and national competitions. We allow any of our dancers to trial for the team providing they attend 2 other classes, one of which being a technique class. 

1. How do I pay for class fees? 

Class fees are paid by monthly Direct Debit which is set up simply via an online portal which we provide information about after attending a trial class. Classes run for 48 weeks a year and so the monthly payments remain the same all year round. 

1. Do classes stop during the school holidays? 

No, we run our full timetable all year and only break for 2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks in August. 

1. Will my child wear a uniform? 

We do have a uniform for each class which can be purchased through our website once your child has attended class for a few weeks. All uniform information is sent out after a trial class. 

1. How have TDSW teaching staff trained? 

All TDSW teachers have trained to degree or level 6 diploma standard in dance / education and have taken further advanced their training with qualifications in specific movement techniques including: 

ISTD for Cecchetti Ballet, Acrobatic Arts for Acro, Alixa Flexibility and Kidding Around Yoga for children’s yoga classes.
